i {heart} my hubby

I am always excited at the excuse to talk about how much I {heart} the husband (or Joseph, I'll name him for once)...There are so many things that I appreciate, boast, and adore about him but this time I do believe I will tell why I specifically put the above pic in this post:

The picture above is a favorite of mine, he is so intense on the field, he is serious yet having a blast ,constantly thinking the next move,and he is (to brag a little) GOOD.

But God had other plans...Joseph chose to follow God's plans and he chose ME.If you know anything about professional baseball you know that they do not get paid swat (like 700 a month) and you know that my dreams of graduate school AND marriage would not be as possible.

the sexy, tall, brown haired, blue eyes, baseball player, not to mention VP of the FCA/godly guy CHOSE ME!

This picture also reminds me of something that I am blessed with that most athletes and coaches struggle with. The Man leaves it on the field. Whether win or loss it is left out on that mound. Even if he does not get home until midnight the game is left there. That is something I will always treasure and I hope is passed down to our little athletes(given they do not get their momma's genes). If you have ever dated an athlete, coach, or just a guy addicted to "his" team you know what I mean. In that he has ministered to high school baseball players and their parents in a way that I did not know he could. I am so proud of him!
