Santa, Fe , NM Day 3

The third and final day spent not getting to the airport at 7am to find out that the plane was delayed an hour. This my friend is no big deal, we are easy going, but we we could of had one last amazing breakfast at the B&B if only we had stayed 30 minutes longer. So the third and final day we took our time and leisurely enjoyed the day. Unfortunately I was not feeling too well and did not take many pictures.

We had heard that Cowgirl BBQ was given great reviews in Santa Fe and us being from Texas had to see what it was about. I got the pulled pork sandwich and the husband got the chicken fried chicken. Lets put it this way...ITS BETTER IN TEXAS.

After a much needed nap we headed for the rail-yard. Not much to see but one of my favorite movies is Newsies. If you have seen it you know the song "Santa Fe". I just needed that moment.

Just because we were on vacation and I have the sweetest husband in the world we searched the area for a bakery. We found a french creperie. Although a pretty penny the peach crepe I ate and the cherry one the husband ate were a perfect late afternoon snack and were quickly followed by a gourmet pizza and soup from Il Vicino.


We had such a wonderful time and are excited to plan another trip next year!

Oh and yes...the husband paid and planned it for us...claims it to be to celebrate completion of my school. Isn't he amazing!
