10 [b]A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.12 She brings him good, not harm,
She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
Proverbs 31: 10-12
Lately I have been reflecting on my attitude and actions. Most in particular my opinionated nature that can be found often in us women. Who am I to point out the meaningless details or who am I to get upset of something so trivial, something that in all reality can be compared to spilled milk. I am reminded of what I strive to become...the Proverbs 31 woman...
A WIFE of NOBLE character!
This verse also reminds me to check my opinionated, wanting to be right, nature at the door. Oh yes we discuss and we are partners in this marriage...but who am I to nag or correct parts of stories that really no one cares about. I am to honor him and bring him good. He has full confidence in me and will disclose any plans for the future...if only may my impatient tongue be patient to listen.
May your day be filled with BEAUTY!

A WIFE of NOBLE character!
Noble, according to merriam-webster.com can be defined as possessing outstanding qualities. We ask what are these qualities and that is why I find Proverbs 31: 10-31 so beautiful...it defines them.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.12 She brings him good, not harm,
and lacks nothing of value.12 She brings him good, not harm,

As a young woman we learn from amazing women in our lives bits of wisdom. The above truth I learned from my mom who demonstrated how to bring her husband no harm and for him to have full confidence in her. She never would discuss ANYTHING negative about Dad. He was her husband and no matter she spoke words to honor him. May I always due so for the husband.
Our greatest witness is our marriage!
