Simplicity

It has been a while since I have posted. It is not like a lot has been keeping me away...I just have not posted. God has shown me how making life simple creates its own beauty. Living in a one bedroom apartment with  a total of 3 closets (laundry room, entryway closet, and bedroom) has taught me how to simplify my life. It has been a challenge to create a space that both J and I can live in. Simplifying our lives has also taught me how to communicate my desires respectfully to my husband. Because, yes, what I think is needed to decorate is not exactly what he thinks is needed. I have been shown how much J loves me and considers my feelings in things. It has become a fun date to rearrange the apartment or go to home depot and dream about what our future house. There is not a whole lot that can be done with a 1980's apartment but adding some new curtains, a curtain rod and a bookshelf make a great difference.

Recently we went to my parents house in Katy and took a small stop of fun to Blue Bell factory. It was fun to to get a away together. I am excited about more adventures to come!

I leave you with this today: Look for aspects of God in every situation. He is there just waiting to create smiles in our life.
