Life as a Coach's Wife...and wheelchairs

Before I met Joseph I prayed that I would marry someone who could teach my kids to play baseball. Never would I have thought I would marry a coach, for baseball none the less. I coach's wife has a mix of it all...late nights at work, dangerous (or somewhat) environments, fun competitions, recognition, nights alone, and unpredictability. I love what he does. He comes home excited about Inspiring boys everyday to work their hardest and do their best to benefit the TEAM. And in spite of his busy load he leaves the game on the field and loves me and listens to all my OT banter.
One thing I did not think would happen to me is the ability to relate everything to the sport of baseball...and yes it is possible..just ask him.

Since JT had some games this weekend I volunteered at an annual Wheelchair Tennis Tournament locally located. I came into the event excited to see how individuals with quadriplegia and paraplegia were going to play tennis quickly and effectively. It was so neat to see some of these gold winning Olympians play the sport. It is inspiring to see individuals compete and successfully accomplish what   they want to. It reminds me of the amazing power of God and how failure is nonexistent.
